October 2006 - Cellgate took care of all the SMS-services for X-Factor; the most complete talent search ever held in the Netherlands.

After the audition, confrontation and ultimate tests before the jury, the remaining candidates will be participating in the live shows on television.

Dancing on ice!

(August 2006) – Following the very popular television show Dancing with the Stars, RTL now will start broadcasting Dancing on Ice.

In association with the Flemish TV station VTM, RTL4 will broadcast Dancing on ice in The Netherlands and Belgium starting Saturday August 26. Martijn Krabbé and his VTM colleague Francesca Vanthielen will present this Ice Dancing Contest, a Dutch version of the original British success formula.

Five Dutch stars and five Flemish stars will be coupled up with a professional ice dancer to compete for the award for best ice dancer, commencing the weekend of August 26.

For this show, in which a couple will have to make way every week, Cellgate will handle all SMS voting.

For the second edition of Dancing with the Stars RTL / Endemol have once again chosen for Cellgate to handle the sms mass vote.

RTL signs contract with cellgate

(January 2006) – Cellgate has been selected by RTL to handle all their sms traffic in 2006. In 2005 Cellgate already handled the sms traffic for many of RTL’s TV programs, like herrie in de Keuken, Baantjer, Eerste Hulp Bij Opvoeden, Eigen Huis & Tuin, Filmquiz, RTL Transportwereld, RTL Autowereld, Dansduel, Hoe schoon is jouw huis, CSI and everything for Yorin FM and RTL FM

(December 2005) - After Dancing with the Stars RTL selected Cellgate to take care of the sms vote in their tv program Idols.

(August 2005) - Cellgate has been selected by RTL Nederland and Endemol as the party to provide the sms voting application for Dancing with the stars. Over a period of nine weeks eight Dutch stars (four women and four men), each joined with a professional danspartner, will battle each other every Saturdaynight on the dancefloor. Through sms voting, therefore through Cellgate's voting application the winner will be selected.

Mobitainment and Cellgate close deal

(March 2005) – Cellgate has closed a deal with cross medial production company Mobitainment for handling all SMS traffic. All SMS traffic from Mobitainment’s late night TV shows "Na Sluytingstijd", "CupidoTV" and "Pool Party", as well as all SMS traffic from TV Auction "Shop4Nop" will be routed through Cellgate’s SMS platform.

Contracts with all five mobile operators

(January 2005) - Cellgate has quickly negotiated and inked contracts with all five mobile operators in the Netherlands. The contracts for the handling of sms traffic are with KPN Mobile, Vodafone, T-Mobile, Orange and Telfort

Cellgate kicks off

(January 2005) - NOB (Mobiview) decides due to a reorganisation to stop its sms-brokerage services to third parties. Mobitainment and RTL, two major clients of NOB decide to continue the commercial activities through a new company; Cellgate B.V.
